The Daken 12km solar electric fence kit is a system packaged ready to go that just requires a battery for permanent fencing applications. Suitable for multi wire fences up to 12km. The system incorporates a BT12 12KM energiser, quality crystalline 10Watt universal Solar Panel*, and Solar Mount.  The universal solar mount can be screwed on to wooden posts or wired onto steel posts.

Battery Recommendation:

You will require a 12Volt (13.8Volt) battery to operate this BT12.

A standard automotive battery is will be more than sufficient.

The Daken 12V 20AH battery P/N: 70404D is perfectly suited to this Solar system.

Look after your battery, Keep in a plastic battery box or container to protect it from the weather, and where possible keep it off the ground to stop it from self-discharging.
